Early Start operates a morning and an afternoon session. Each session caters for 15 pupils. A qualified primary teacher and a childcare worker deliver the Early Start curriculum. Each session runs for 2.5 hours. The afternoon session is offered through the medium of Irish.

Science Week
We had a very busy Science Week in Early Start. Have a look at all of our pictures and meet all of our scientists.
We inflated balloons with vinegar and bread soda. We made rainbows appear on our tables. We made rainbow rice. We made playdough. We made wonderful designs with skittles and warm water. We made wind fans and tested different materials to see which could be moved with the fans. We made a rain cloud in a jar. And finally we designed and made a cave for a baby dinosaur.
