Dear Parents / Guardians,
Thank you for your engagement with the activities this week. I realise it will be a very different Easter this year due to the circumstances in which we find ourselves.
For the next fortnight I would encourage all our pupils to enjoy their Easter holidays. The Easter break provides a wonderful opportunity for families to continue to spend quality time together. Encourage your children to engage in lots of play activities (both physical and imaginative), make jigsaws, play board games, do junk art activities, design an Easter egg hunt, send Easter cards or a letter to a family member they cannot visit due to social distancing, try out new recipes and continue to get plenty of fresh air and exercise. Maybe older children could read an Easter / Spring story for younger siblings.
Schools are due to reopen on Monday 20th April. Should circumstances change, I will be in touch to offer further guidance on supporting your child’s learning.
I hope you all enjoy a happy Easter, as well as can be, at this unprecedented time. Stay safe and well.
Kind regards,
Alma Quinn
