END OF YEAR REPORT FROM BOM
The Board of Management wishes to confirm the following report of items, completed by the current Board during the school year 2025-26.

The Board received grants from the Department of Education & Skills for the following:
- Early Start Equipment & Parental Involvement

- DEIS SSP
- Hot School Lunch Scheme was provided by the Department of Social Protection
- Renovation work for new special class
- Attendance
The overall attendance rate for the school year was 88.2%.
- SNA Allocation
The allocation of Special Needs Assistants for the 2025/2026 was 12 posts (2 junior day posts).
Our Special Education Teaching allocation was 187.5 hours.
- Enrolment
The enrolment for the school year was 256 pupils.
Highlights
- Our second special class for pupils with autism opened.
- Pupils from 3rd – 5th class took part in the Accelerated Reading Programme.
- Our whole school musical The Wannabes was staged in December.
- STEM Week took place in January.
- Creative Week took place in February.
- 2nd class pupils received their First Holy Communion and 6th class pupils were confirmed in June.
- Seachtain na Gaeilge was celebrated. Pupils took part in community events including a concert in Ballyfermot Library.
- The choir participated in The Big Sing.
- Pupils from Junior Infants, Third Class and the special classes participated in Forest Schools.
- Autism Awareness Month was celebrated throughout April.
- Concerts took place at Christmas, Easter and Summer.
We greatly appreciate the fantastic support with policy making by our Parents’ Association this year. We thank them for providing hoodies for the 6th class girls as a leaving gift. The Board of Management wishes you all a very happy summer break.
