Letter 1st September

Dear Parent / Guardian,

I would like to welcome you and your child back to school in St. Louise de Marillac Primary School. I hope your child will be very happy, make new friends and continue to develop academically, emotionally, socially and physically in the coming year. Though the circumstances are different to other Septembers, we will all work together to keep our school safe and minimize the spread of Covid-19.

If you have not already paid your child’s requisites fee of €25, I would really appreciate if you could do so as soon as possible. You can pay using the online payment facility. If you wish to do this, please ring the office and ask Jackie / Shirley for the details.

Please label your child’s belongings clearly especially school jumpers and coats. Encourage your child to walk in independently from the gate. Please observe social distancing when waiting on the footpath.

If you have any books from the book rental scheme which you did not have a chance to return in June, please send them in with your child in a plastic bag.

Please find the latest advice from the Department of Education & Skills in relation to dealing with a suspected case of Covid-19 on our school website (news section).

The teachers and staff of St. Louise’s look forward to working with you and your child this coming year.

Kind regards,

Alma Quinn

Principal
